_Szentendre Ceramicists
Identity and anniversary campaign for the ceramicists of Szentendre — the town, the river and the clay in a single mark.
The Association of Szentendre Ceramicists turned twenty. We designed the association’s identity and the entire campaign for the anniversary exhibition — from the logo through the invitation to the banner stretched across the courtyard of the Barcsay Museum.
The mark is built from three elements: the silhouette of Szentendre’s rooftops and church tower, the waves of the Danube beneath it, and a ceramic bowl holding the whole together. Local values in a timeless form, in deep blue, coral and turquoise — the palette the town and the glazes both allow.
The anniversary campaign carries the same thought further: the digits of “20” are built from jugs, bowls, rooftops and plants, so the number itself became the exhibition’s display. The system runs from the poster through the invitation and the Facebook event to the on-site banner — twenty makers, three days, one courtyard.
